What's New at Cercli: Product Updates for June 2025

This month, we focused on helping you offboard team members more quickly (and, of course, more compliantly), manage team assets more clearly, and sync time off with your day-to-day tools.

Last month, we launched the beta version of our offboarding module. It’s now live and ready to use. This flow helps you offboard team members in just a few clicks without missing any key steps.

Offboarding is a critical HR process, especially in countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and many others, where employers are legally required to settle all dues within 14 days of the employee’s contract end date. This includes prorated salary, gratuity, unused leave, and any other compensation outlined in the contract.

Here’s what you can now do through Cercli:

• Automatically calculate final settlements, including gratuity, annual leave payouts, approved expenses, and other additions, in compliance with UAE labour law

• Download an offboarding summary and generate a final settlement letter with zero manual work

• Capture every detail from service end date to notice date, last working day, departure reason, and type of offboarding

• Reassign direct reports and people partner assignees when someone leaves, so responsibilities don’t fall through the cracks

• Decide whether to include other leave payouts in the final amount

• Save drafts, review them later, and submit when you’re ready

The end-of-service summary includes total compensation, unused leave, expenses, total additions, and a full breakdown of the settlement. You can also edit or assign at any stage!

Introducing asset management: assign and track any asset

We’re excited to launch a new module in Cercli: asset management. You can now assign and track assets and equipment for any team member at any stage, during onboarding or after. It doesn’t matter when it happens; the process is simple.

From laptops to monitors to access cards, you can assign whatever your team needs with the flexibility to remove or edit assignments at any time. Everything is tracked in one place, so you always know where your company assets are and who they’re with.

We also built a dedicated buyout flow for when a team member wants to purchase their assigned equipment during their exit. This is asset tracking made easier, built right into your HR system.

Time off now syncs with your calendar

You can now sync Cercli’s time off calendar with your work calendar, whether that’s Google or Outlook. Authenticate securely, select which calendar to use, and choose which leave categories to show, such as annual leave, sick leave, or working from home. You can toggle these on and off as needed.

You also have control over who sees what. Keep your time off private or choose to make it visible to your team.

Automated salary certificate generation

Salary certificates are critical for team members to be able to apply for visas, bank loans, and other official processes. When done offline, they’re a time-consuming, repetitive task. Using Cercli as your source of truth, you can automate the creation of salary certificates with just a few clicks. Simply navigate to the team member’s profile, select the option to download the salary certificate, and input the required information to generate a final PDF.

Get alerts for probation status and contract deadlines

You’ll now receive alerts on important team events like probation status, contract ends, and more. These notifications help you stay on top of key updates without needing to dig for them.

Every update this month was built to reduce manual work, improve visibility, and make HR feel less like admin and more like progress.
